Houston Toros were an American soccer team, founded in 2002, who were members of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, until 2003, after which the team left the league and the franchise was terminated. The Houston Toros is now expanding as a brand in Houston Texas and is partnered with Link International Design

They played their home games primarily in the stadium at North Shore Senior High School in the city of Houston, Texas. Now, their facility is currently located in the Memorial Area, in West Houston.

Recently, the brand has returned to West Houston in 2010 as a joint venture between the former owner of the Toros Juan Giraldo and his son, Jonathan Giraldo. Jonathan is a former pro futbol player is now current futbol owner. He played throughout South America shortly after high school and in his early 20s. He also played reserve games for the New York Red Bulls He has merged his love for the sport and passion for international business in 2010. Now dubbed, Houston Toros Center, it is the only outdoor, futsal turf field in Houston, TX Their motto is to be the best soccer experience in the city of Houston. Their outdoor caged, futsal turf field creates an "urban street soccer" atmosphere. 5v5 or Futsal is the only approved form of small sided soccer by FIFA. Their turf is second to none in the world, in fact the same company that laid their turf installed the first 3-field system in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. The Toros Center has indoor seating with free WiFi and a full view of the outdoor Futsal field. Their Memorial location is the first of its kind in Houston and rivals the concept of outdoor soccer, futsal and an artificial grass turf as a never before seen combination that is burgeoning as an up and coming hub for soccer in Houston. The Houston Toros Center currently holds three league nights boasting a first and second division option along with a coed night. The center also offers space for fitness, training and events as needed for rental. They hold tournaments throughout the year, with their marked tournaments being their Thanksgiving, Turkey Day Tourney and also their Christmas tournament. Visit them at www.houstontoros.com
